From October 8 to November 7, we went on a one-month performance tour across Europe. We gave five concerts in Germany, Austria, and France. Audiences in every country were very pleased with our performances, and since we were mostly hosted by students, we were able to fully enjoy everyday life in Europe. It was a valuable trip that allowed us to rediscover cultural differences and appreciate the good aspects of Japan.
In Germany, we performed at a vintage bike café and bar run by one of our students in Berlin.
A joint concert in Vienna’s 23rd district, by invitation, together with a viola da gamba player and a vocalist.
With August, a student who came from Scotland to support us.
The concert was held at the same church as last year.
In France, the concert was held in a large mansion. Many people there seem to enjoy ambient lighting, so the concert began at dusk and ended in complete darkness.
Since one of our students is a harpist, we performed a collaboration together.
